Payment card information may be processed by a third-party payment provider. FaithFinder does not intentionally store complete payment card numbers on its own website or systems.

Directory and listing information

• Through a listing claim or update request
• From publicly available websites, directories, social media pages and other public sources
• From partners, referrals or service providers where permitted by law

Directory information may include an organization’s name, denomination or tradition, category, location, public telephone number, public email address, website, social media accounts, service information, hours, description and other publicly available organizational details.

Although most directory information relates to organizations, some listings may include the professional contact information of pastors, leaders, owners or other representatives.

4. Directory Listings and Public Information

FaithFinder is an online directory designed to help people discover and connect with churches, ministries, Christian businesses, schools and faith-based opportunities.

Some directory information may be compiled from publicly available sources before an organization claims its listing. Inclusion in the directory does not necessarily mean that an organization has purchased services from, partnered with or endorsed FaithFinder.

Organizations and authorized representatives may request that eligible listing information be corrected, updated, claimed or removed. FaithFinder may require reasonable verification before making material changes to a listing.

Information that an organization asks us to publish in a directory listing will be publicly visible and may be indexed by search engines or accessed by third parties. Public information may remain visible in search-engine caches or third-party archives after it has been changed or removed from FaithFinder.

5. Communities and User-Submitted Content

If you join a FaithFinder community, group or member area, information you choose to add to your profile or post within a community may be visible to other members.

Please do not post confidential information or personal information that you do not want others to see. You must have permission before sharing another person’s personal information.

Because FaithFinder is faith-focused, information you voluntarily provide may reveal religious interests or affiliations. Please share only the information you are comfortable providing. FaithFinder may moderate, restrict or remove content to protect members, enforce community standards or comply with legal obligations.
