FaithFinder Connect is an online Alberta community for meaningful conversation, prayer, practical learning, trusted networking and relationship-building among Christians, church and ministry leaders, and faith-friendly professionals.
Is FaithFinder Connect free to join?
Yes. FaithFinder Connect is free to join. Create your account, answer a few qualification questions and wait for your membership to be approved.
How do I become a member?
Visit the FaithFinder Community, create your free account and answer a few short qualification questions. Your request will be reviewed, and you will be added to the community once it is approved. You do not need to complete the Thought Leader application.
Who can apply to become a Thought Leader, Spiritual Leader or Guide?
FaithFinder welcomes applications from pastors, ministry leaders, teachers, educators, life coaches, spiritual leaders, guides, business and nonprofit leaders, experienced facilitators and people with relevant subject-matter expertise. Applicants should be knowledgeable, dependable, respectful and committed to serving others.
What is the difference between the contributor roles?
Community Administrators help guide participation and support healthy community spaces. Content Creators develop useful posts, guides, interviews or learning resources. Subject-Matter Experts contribute informed answers, discussions, Q&As or workshops related to their area of experience. Spiritual Leaders and Guides provide faith-centred encouragement, guidance and support for personal and spiritual growth.
Does applying guarantee administrator or creator access?
No. Every application is reviewed. Roles and permissions are offered based on experience, community needs, alignment with FaithFinder values and the responsibilities of the role.
Do leaders and guides need to join the community before applying?
No. You may submit the leadership application first, although joining the free community can help you become familiar with its conversations, members and expectations. The free membership request and the leadership application are separate approval processes.
What kind of content is FaithFinder looking for?
Useful, practical and encouraging content is welcome, including ministry resources, leadership guidance, business insight, interviews, educational posts, prayer resources, community stories and answers to relevant member questions.
Is the community limited to one denomination?
No. FaithFinder welcomes people from diverse Christian traditions. Members are expected to participate respectfully, avoid unnecessary division and honour the community guidelines.
How does FaithFinder keep discussions respectful?
Connect uses community standards, reviewed access and active moderation. Administrators help guide conversations, address concerns and support a constructive environment.
Will there be in-person events as well as online conversations?
Connect begins with online community spaces, learning and networking. FaithFinder also plans to support future local gatherings, roundtables and member-led opportunities as participation grows.
